The hedgehog !




Although I am very peaceful,
What I sting and sting and sting and sting
the hedgehog lamented.

I don't have a single companion.
I'm like a bush,
a tiny little thorn
bush that would walk on slippers.

I envy the mole my cousin,
Soft as a velvet glove.
Suddenly emerging from the ploughing

"You must always complain" reproaches
Me for the shrew.

"Certainly, I know how to put myself in a ball
As well as a big chestnut,
But it is especially when I roll
Full of spines, under a bush,
that I prick and prick and transplant
Me who am so peaceful"
laments the hedgehog.
