flowers Fine, frothy flowers like foam were
growing along our paths
The wind was dropping and the air seemed to graze your hands
and hair with feathers.
The shadow was benevolent at our feet gathered
As we walked along, under the foliage;
A child's song came to us from a village
and filled all the infinity.
Our ponds spread out in their autumn
splendour Under the guard of the long reeds
And the beautiful wood front reflected in the waters
His high and flexible crown.
And both of us, knowing that our hearts were formulating
the same thought Together,
we thought that it was our peaceful
life that this beautiful evening revealed to us.
Once supreme, you saw the sky in celebration
Adorn itself and say goodbye to us;
And long and long you gave it your eyes
Full to the edges of silent tenderness.
